Arzu Vuruşkan; graduated from Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Engineering, Textile Engineering Department, in 2002. At the same year, she started her M.Sc. degree at the same department. During this time, she also worked for a private textile company and worked as a merchandiser for one year. She is currently a PhD student at the Textile Engineering Department in Dokuz Eylül University and working as an instructor at the Department of Fashion Design in the Izmir University of Economics.

Her research interests are clothing technology, pattern making and CAD systems in apparel manufacturing.
